PATHOLOGY Singer Quits; Band Seeks Replacement
September 14, 2009Vocalist Matti Way (DISGORGE, LITURGY, CINERARY) has quit the San Diego, California-based death metal/grindcore band PATHOLOGY. The group states, "We are extremely disappointed and bummed over this. Matti has other stuff going on right now and we wish him the best. Because of this we are canceling a few upcoming shows."
The band continues, "We are once again looking for a new singer. We need someone that will put their heart and soul into this band. And you must be able to play shows/tours, and lives in the San Diego area or be willing to relocate.

PATHOLOGY's latest album, "Age Of Onset", was released in May via Comatose Music. The CD was recorded at Double Time Studio in El Cajon, California. The cover artwork was created by Pär Olofsson.

PATHOLOGY was formed in the beginning of 2006 by Dave Astor (BEING KILLED, THE LOCUST, CATTLE DECAPITATION). The band's debut album, "Surgically Hacked", was released in September 2006 on Amputated Vein Records (Japan). In July 2007, PATHOLOGY signed with Grindhead Records (Australia) to release the band's crushing malpractice, "Incisions Of Perverse Debauchery" (2008).
